Nos Fleurs

My favorite material to mosaic with is broken china, known as “picassiette”. I love the details and patterns found there-in and relish hand cutting each one out from its background. This piece evolved from a series of small standing bouquets amassing inside an old frame lying on the living room floor. Not knowing what to do with these arrangements and looking at them as if looking into a diorama, a flower shop was born. And where else but my beloved Paris in the 18th arrondissement/neighborhood!
