Materials: Hand cut foraged stone, smalti, tinted thinset
Statement: My thoughts often involve textures & textiles. This piece merges my career handling many hundreds of textile samples and a passion now pulling me toward cutting stone rather than fabric. Each swatch is made of a single stone foraged from the New England coast, and some added glass bits with the always present loose threads dangling in the background.
